The KL International Buskers' Festival (KLIBF 2006) has a big heart. Besides being a fun and exciting festival, the organisers realized that this is an opportune event for everyone to spread hope and cheer to those less fortunate.

Buskers perform in the streets to inspire laughs, amuse kids and turn frowns to smiles. Buskers require no admission fees or tickets sales all they ask is an appreciative contribution to the passing hats at the end of the show.

Especially for KLIBF 2006, the organisers and international buskers have generously agreed to donate all takings to Festival's designated local charity organization.

The organisers have identified Kiwanis Club of Damansara (KCD) as their official charity trustee. The funds raised from the festival will go into funding their charity projects targeted at less fortunate children.

Buskers-Greet the Children Party
Wholesome family entertainment for locals and tourists has always been at the heart of the festival and is befitting as the Buskers' final act is to spend a lively afternoon playing and mingling with the less fortunate children. The organisers, together with Kiwanis Club of Damansara (KCD), KLIBF charity trustee, ferried 250 children from various orphanages to Malaysian Tourism Centre for 3 hours of partying filled with busking fun, entertainment and presents.
